On 7th July 2009 twelve members of THE CEO GROUP visited the Land Rover factory at Solihull. Land Rover is the world's largest manufacturer of 4x4 vehicles. We were treated to a very interesting factory tour of the Range Rover and Defender lines followed by an equally exciting drive on the off-road course - The Land Rover Experience. We then met with John Edwards (Managing Director UK) who very kindly gave us alot of time talking about the business. Some very interesting questions were posed to John. All in all an excellent day and a very impressive facility and hospitality by Land Rover ! An extremely well organised event - a big thanks to Liz Britts of Land Rover and Rob Dunn (Sales Manager) of Guy Salmon Land Rover in Coventry. Needless to say since this visit several members of the CEO Group have bought Land Rovers ! |
